Carrero will share with us his inspirational portraits and coverage of social unrest as his documents the compelling subjects of the day. His camera allow us to become intimately involved with the people and events he’s documenting.

Augustus recently published: “Black Hollywood” Reimagining Iconic Movie Moments.

“Recreating scenes from movies and iconic images for my Black Hollywood Book Project has been one of the greatest joys of my career. I wanted a challenge so I chose black celebrities and entertainers to help facilitate the vision.

His over 65 portraits include: Sheryl Underwood to Grammy award winner Lalah Hathaway to First black Ms. American Vanessa Williams.

This promises to be an entertaining and thought provoking evening of photography.
